Antichi Sapori is a family business, located in Troina, a small town in the heart of Sicily and is part of Nebrodi Park.

The company, led by Antonino Rizzo, produces handcrafted products of oven, recipes that go back to the tradition and Sicilian cuisine as a "vastedda cu sammucu" and "nfasciatieddi". At These typical products for excellence approach also the "cudduri Christmas", "pasticciotti", almond paste, pistachio paste, curuzza, cassatelle troina, cannoli or funnu ( baked) or fried, pignolata, sphinxes, and a big news: pastes almond elderflower. These products was prepared initially only at home and in particular periods of the year, today, thanks to strong demand are marketed throughout the year. The company follows a model of craftsmanship, carefully selecting the raw materials and manufacturing processes, paying attention to the certification of traceability. All this has contributed over the years to ensure the completion of each product.

The products of Antonino contain neither coloring nor preservatives, and some of them are also suitable for the celiac  consumers. The company is equipped with machinery and equipment for storage and packaging of products, in addition, it gives ample room for new preparations with the use of flour of ancient grains endangered (Timilia, Majorca, Russello).

In 2004 "the  vastedda cu sammucu" and "the 'nfasciatieddi"  are part of the great circuit of the Slow Food movement, which communicates and studies the food culture in all its aspects taking care of a 'large and elegant showcase of all these products staged every two years at the Salone del Gusto in Turin. At Terra Madre, an initiative that works to preserve the taste of food and biodiversity, Antonino has prepared, in the spotlight of the journalists, several laboratories in taste  where they participated people  from all over the world. Finally, in recent years, its products find  space at the fair of 'craftsman in Milan, where he had the opportunity not only to promote and sell their products but to know, test the market and especially to establish new business relations . Also thanks to his collaboration was established a committee for the recognition of the PGI vastedda cu sammucu.
